Why would my mom have to talk to my doctor about going on a cruise ?

I'm pretty sure no cruises go to New Mexico. That is a state. Mexico isn't known as the best healthcare place in the world so if you like fell out your wheelchair and got hit by bus she wouldn't want to wait a few days to send you back to the hospitals in the states.
