If I plan to study engineering in university, will a university ask for Biology in my A-levels when I apply?

I am crazy about physics and maths.. but just as non-enthusiastic about biology and life sciences. I want to continue with engineering (mechanical or aeronautical) during my undergraduation. So when I apply to a college, will it make a difference (during the selection process) if I HAVE NOT taken biology during my (CIE) A-levels?
