Theoretically, would you prefer a POTUS who you perceive to be smarter than you, or about as smart as you?

I would prefer a Pres. that was smarter than me. But he/she would have to possess common sense in abundance too. In addition, my idea Pres. would be an independent thinker and willing to put the good of the country and its citizens above all else.
