Can he really love me or is he just playing games?

when i text him first he doesn't answer back. He texts me late like at 6 or later. He says i love u now. He loos to say i love yhu and i liked it that way better. It seems like he is changing very slowly. We only see each others once a week. Is his love fading away from me? what can i do? I really love him and this is our 4th month together.
